Toddler.

Rosie is all of a sudden a total toddler, walking everywhere, talking up a storm, making jokes, playing games, and even has learned how to say "no" and shake her head vigorously. She says no to every question she's asked, even if she really means yes. She refuses to be left out of anything, demanded her own ice cream when leo's having it, and is walking and exploring every corner, and drawer, of our house.

We've been on spring break all week - and I took both kids to an indoor gym and Rosie took off - playing ball, climbing on the jungle gym, interacting with the other kids and parents. I was sort of shocked as it seems like it was last week that she was asleep in the ergo in these situations. She is sleeping a bit better, has almost four front teeth, and two bottoms, and stays up all morning, not wanting to miss any of the action in the house when Leo's home. It seems like she can say everything - she crawls into my lap and says "nurse!" or "nu!" she says milk, and bagel and frog and a loud quack whenever she sees a duck - Leo even has her imitating his "tarantula noises" at the top of her lungs. She loves peek a boo and especially high fives. She does this great belly laugh and her eyes squint up when she smiles like Eric's. She would be happy if she could high five all the way through dinner. But we need to take breaks once in a while to eat.
