Three Months.



At twelve weeks Rosie is calming down quite a bit. She smiles at all of us, especially at Leo when he climbs into our bed with her in the morning or drags his step stool up to her changing table so he can get a better look. Yesterday she spent a quiet half hour listening to Eric play the guitar for her. She follows Leo around the room with her eyes and has back forth coo-ing conversations with me on her changing table. She's sleeping a lot better at night and takes naps in her crib & basket. She nurses well, though hasn't been too excited about taking a bottle. She can hold her head up and is working on rolling over. She likes to look at her mobile or at the butterfly that hangs from the ceiling above Leo's bed. During the day she naps while I work or tags along with Leo back & forth to school. Our evenings have been calmer, knock on wood, we've been taking family walks or hanging out in the backyard. Eric bathes her in the kitchen sink and she kicks and splashes.
