Fuzzles.
Leo's been hard at work on puzzles these days. He can play quietly for a good long while, listening to music, working on puzzles and reading books to himself.


He's been using language in all kinds of wonderful, casual ways to suggest and convince and add humor. Tonight in the car he said "how about music?"

He's into making up songs by adding the word "song" to any topic as in "elbow song" ... "uncle mike song." This he finds hilarious. He's also somehow memorized the authors of his favorite books. Tonight we sang "Kevin Henckes Song."

His commands at bedtime include: "mama pat back" and "mama sit" and when I say no he says "a little bit?" This routine also includes never ending requests for different renditions of "This little light of mine," mostly invented by eric. These are titled "mine" "mine robot" and "Leo mine robot."
